Permanent, Part Time (18 hours per week)

Kingston College has developed over the years a formidable reputation for the quality and breadth of its education and training provision. A major development on the main site has provided the opportunity to combine educational study with business and training activity. The Commercial Industries and Access School has responsibility for courses across the whole spectrum of hair and beauty, travel and tourism, public service, sport and leisure, Esports, early years, health & social care, counselling, business and Access disciplines with courses ranging from basic skills, to work at undergraduate level.

We are now looking for a Lecturer to teach on a variety of Esports courses and levels across the curriculum area, including but not limited to; BTEC, Level 1, 2 and 3 courses. You will take responsibility for the group tutorship of one of more of the courses within the School and contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvements as directed by the Head of Section and/or Head of School.

We're looking for someone who has excellent teaching skills and relevant teaching experience on BTEC programmes in Esports, across a range of levels. You'll hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and have energy, enthusiasm and passion for the subject and education. We'd like you to have links with the industry, relevant external agencies and validating bodies and be able to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress.

A teaching qualification is not essential, however we do ask that you are willing to achieve one in line with current regulations.
